About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Laborer to join our team at Atlas Landscaping Inc. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and beauty of our outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Education and Training: No formal degree or certification is required, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential.
  • Experience: We offer on-the-job training to help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.
  • Work Setting: You will work in various locations, including residential and commercial properties, to maintain and enhance the outdoor spaces.
  • Tasks:
    • Assist with Landscape Constructions: You will work alongside our experienced team to build and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, and hardscapes.
    • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: You will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of trees and plants, including pruning, trimming, and weeding.
    • Rake and Collect Refuse: You will ensure that outdoor spaces are kept clean and free of debris, including raking leaves and collecting refuse.
    • Lay Sod or Seed: You will work with our team to install new sod or seed lawns, ensuring a lush and healthy appearance.
    • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: You will assist in planting and maintaining a variety of plants, including bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
    • Apply Fertilizers: You will work with our team to apply fertilizers to lawns and plants, ensuring they receive the nutrients they need to thrive.
    • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: You will be responsible for watering and maintaining the health of plants, lawns, and gardens.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires a fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and physical demands, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position, offering a stable and secure work environment.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Hours: You will work 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for overtime.
