About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Roller Operator to join our team at Miller Paving Limited. As a key member of our road construction operations, you will be responsible for operating an asphalt roller, finish roller, or rubber tire roller on municipal, highway, and private contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate asphalt rollers, finish rollers, or rubber tire rollers on various construction projects
- Clean, service, and lubricate equipment, and perform minor repairs
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and complete maintenance records and daily equipment logs
- Communicate effectively with the crew using two-way radios and other communication devices
- Lead by example and promote a Safety-First culture for all employees, sub-contractors, consultants, and the public
