Job Responsibilities:
As a Culinary Service Associate, your primary duties will involve:
- Assisting with basic food preparation in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Packaging and portioning food items for service.
- Preparing meals based on specific guidelines and menus.
- Serving meals to patients and customers.
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, dishes, tables, and serving areas.
Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.
- The physical capability to lift food, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 46 lbs, and the ability to push/pull meal carts weighing up to 250 lbs.
- The ability to stand and walk for the duration of your shift.

Preferred candidates will possess:
- Basic computer skills.
- A Food Safe Handling Certificate, to be obtained within three months of employment.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team, stay organized, and perform tasks independently.

- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting up to 20 kg.
