Job Summary

North York General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our dynamic team in Core Labs. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of laboratory tests and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures, including quality control and quality improvement programs.
  • Identify problems and take appropriate corrective action to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Utilize Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) to record and report information.

Requirements

  • Current CMLTO registration for Transfusion Medicine, Hematology, Biochemistry, and Histology.
  • CSMLS certification/registration.
  • Experience in Core Laboratory an asset.
  • Bilingualism in French/English an asset.
