Director, Commercial Projects Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Commercial Projects to join our team at Tari Labs, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex and politically-sensitive projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Lead client engagements through the lifecycle of a project, including discovery, solution design, procurement, and implementation.
- Market Engagement: Manage market engagement with industry to validate and refine transaction models.
- Communication: Succinctly communicate and present ideas, strategies, and commercial solutions to government officials and key stakeholders.
- Procurement: Design and implement procurement approaches and evaluate bids.
- Negotiations: Manage commercial and legal negotiations with the private sector.
- Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Team Development: Coach and mentor team members.
- External Partnerships: Oversee and manage external advisors and/or liaise with internal partners, depending on project needs.
- Experience: Experience working on broadband, satellite, and/or other utility infrastructure projects.
- Leadership: Experience leading the development and presentation of complex strategies/transaction structures to senior decision-makers.
- Team Management: Experience leading large cross-functional teams to deliver complex and politically-sensitive projects.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Negotiation: Ability to successfully navigate ambiguous situations and align multiple senior stakeholders around a common solution and path forward.
- Industry Experience: Substantial experience in financial/professional services (e.g., management consulting, engineering, planning, legal services).
- Additional Skills: Financial modeling, service delivery, infrastructure, or land use transaction experience a plus.
- Government Experience: Experience working for government clients or with political stakeholders an asset.
