Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Chicken Delight. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating our point-of-sale system, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
  • Stock shelves and restock supplies as needed
  • Participate in promotional activities and suggestive selling to enhance customer experience
  • Monitor all entrances and exits, requesting proof of payment when necessary
Requirements
  • Availability for shift or on-call work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a food service or retail environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
