The role of a Mushroom Gathering Technician involves various responsibilities associated with the harvesting and grading of mushrooms. This position is essential for ensuring the quality and market readiness of our produce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grading: Sort mushrooms into different categories based on size, shape, color, and volume to maximize market value.
  • Harvesting: Perform hand harvesting of mushrooms, ensuring minimal damage to the crops.
  • Maintenance: Clean and maintain the work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and care for farm machinery and tools used in the harvesting process.
  • Health Monitoring: Identify and report any diseases or health issues affecting crops.
  • Quality Control: Assess the quality of mushrooms to ensure they meet market standards.
Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
