Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient manufacture of high-quality pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities- Process and manufacture pharmaceutical products in accordance with written processing orders.
- Prepare manufacturing areas and equipment for production, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Clean processing equipment and rooms, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Ensure product quality meets regulatory standards, including those of the Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate (HPFBI), United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA), and European Medicines Agency (EMEA).
- Follow Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and GMP requirements, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Perform alternating or rotating shift work, adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
- Minimum 1 year experience in pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic related manufacturing.
- Ability to maintain records, follow instructions, and work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of GMP, safety standards, and mechanical principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications and the English language.
This role requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination, with the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds. You will work in a comfortable environment with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort.
Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, gloves, hair net, beard cover, safety apron, and respirator.
