Position Overview

As a Respiratory Care Specialist at Linde, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role involves the initiation and management of prescribed respiratory therapies, both in clinical settings and within client residences. You will play a crucial role in assessing client needs, providing education, and ensuring compliance with therapeutic protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and oversee prescribed respiratory therapies, ensuring thorough assessments, education, documentation, and follow-up to maintain equipment functionality and client adherence.
  • Deliver and exchange respiratory equipment in client homes, which may involve lifting equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.
  • Conduct home visits that may require travel over considerable distances.
  • Engage in consultations with clients in office settings regarding sleep and oxygen therapy.
  • Facilitate in-service training on respiratory equipment for various community partners.
  • Promote products and services to referral sources, fostering strong relationships within the healthcare community.
  • Build and maintain high-quality relationships with clients and referral sources.
  • Adhere to safety standards in all job functions.
  • Assist in the training and development of new team members as necessary.
  • Participate in a regular on-call rotation to provide support as needed.

Qualifications

Education

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse with current licensure.

Experience

  • CPAP training and experience are essential.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Experience in homecare and sales is advantageous.

Work Environment

  • Work primarily in client residences and clinical settings.
  • Regular interaction with clients and healthcare professionals.
  • Travel to various client and referral locations as required.
