Job SummaryWe are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Horizon Health Network.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients, including assessing and treating respiratory conditions, conducting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to make a difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess and treat respiratory conditions in patients, including those with chronic respiratory diseases such as COPD and asthma.
- Conduct diagnostic tests, such as spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis, to determine the severity of respiratory conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve respiratory function and overall patient health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
- Completion of an accredited training program for Respiratory Therapists.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure with the New Brunswick Association of Respiratory Therapists.
