We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Island Health. The successful candidate will possess a recognized nursing degree and registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational strategies and programs to enhance nursing practice and patient care.
- Teach and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with current and future nursing and healthcare issues, and integrate this knowledge into educational programs and strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Utilize effective oral and written communication skills to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Three to five years' recent related experience, including two years' relevant clinical experience.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to function independently and collaboratively within a team.
