We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiation Surveyor to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation protection and experience working in nuclear facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct radiation and contamination surveys in compliance with ES&H and RP programs
  • Collect samples for analysis and identify, monitor, and control spills of hazardous chemicals and nuclear contamination
  • Survey and inspect work areas for nuclear hazards, construction/deconstruction health hazards, and develop and implement health and safety plans
  • Ensure health and safety procedures and regulations are followed and perform worker pre-job briefs associated with known or possible hazards
  • Perform air sampling and data analysis, and document log book and computer updates of data collected
  • Perform posting and labeling verification of hazard identification per regulations and site-specific procedures
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 5+ years of experience in radiation protection, with a strong background in ES&H and RP programs
  • Experience working in nuclear facilities, with a focus on radiation protection and health and safety
