Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Clerk to join our team at Carnevale Supermarkets Inc. As a Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized produce department, ensuring that all products are properly displayed and rotated, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Restock and rotate produce products to ensure freshness and quality
  • Maintain a clean and organized produce department, including sweeping and mopping the floor, and cleaning equipment and displays
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and mobile payments
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity and sales goals
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
