**Job Summary**

0050 United Rentals of Canada, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech II) to join our team. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs of equipment in a safe and professional manner.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and tools, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed, including work orders and documentation.
  • Demonstrate and explain complex equipment to customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with the delivery and pickup of equipment and parts, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements:**

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • 1-2 years of experience in repairing and maintaining vehicles and equipment, or trade school graduate.
  • Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
