Job Overview

Objective

Are you an engineer with expertise in fire safety systems? At CIMA+, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals whose skills distinguish them in the industry. You will have the opportunity to engage in diverse building projects across institutional, commercial, residential, and industrial domains. In a collaborative environment where teamwork is essential, you will contribute to the design, calculations, and layout of fire safety systems.

Our flexible work arrangement allows for telecommuting, office work, or a blend of both.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in the design and formulation of plans and specifications for fire safety systems.
  • Assess construction costs and quantities following standard methodologies and established plans.
  • Conduct surveys and studies, and prepare technical documentation.
  • Assist in resolving technical challenges.
  • Draft progress reports and aid in the creation of action plans.
  • Serve as a technical reference for the team.
  • Prepare and oversee budget estimates and provide recommendations.
  • Participate in the oversight of construction activities.
  • Attend meetings with clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in fire protection engineering.
  • Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Familiarity with Hydracalc, Autocad, Revit, or Bluebeam software.
  • Fluency in French (both oral and written).
