Reporting to the Supervisor of On-Campus and Online Engagement, this position is dedicated to promoting Njoyn as the premier choice for higher education, with a focus on attracting both domestic and international prospective students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies that align with Njoyn's operational goals.
  • Collaborate with academic departments and service areas to design targeted initiatives that foster student engagement and success.
  • Engage with prospective students and influencers through tailored communication plans, ensuring effective relationship management.
  • Organize and facilitate recruitment programs, workshops, and events that cater to the needs of potential students.
  • Oversee the student hiring process within the department, including identifying needs, conducting interviews, and managing contracts.
  • Utilize analytical skills to assess recruitment needs and develop actionable strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to support recruitment activities and strategic planning.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to ensure the timely availability of promotional materials for recruitment events.
  • Identify staffing needs for recruitment initiatives and provide leadership to part-time staff and student workers.
  • Advise prospective students on admission requirements, career pathways, and educational planning.
  • Act as a liaison between various departments to streamline recruitment processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall mission of the department.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to connect with a diverse student population. A client-focused approach is essential, along with excellent customer service skills and a passion for community building.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a 4-year degree in Business or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in an educational or related environment, including responsibilities such as managing client relationships and analyzing data.
  • Experience with Salesforce and project/event management is considered an asset.
