Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general project duties, preparing cost estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents, as well as performing construction administration and general construction supervision duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general project duties under the supervision of a Senior Technologist or Engineer
  • Prepare cost estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Perform construction administration and general construction supervision duties
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members

Requirements

  • BSc. in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
  • Eligibility for membership in EGBC as P.L. Eng. or P.Eng. or ASTTBC as a AScT
  • Over 5 years of Transportation or Municipal Engineering experience
  • Strong presentation, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with high attention to detail
  • Civil3D experience is considered an asset
  • Experience with MMCD contract administration and conducting general construction site reviews is considered an asset
