Vancouver Coastal Health is in search of a Clinical Nurse Specialist dedicated to enhancing patient care within the Perinatal department. This position requires collaboration with a diverse group of healthcare professionals to improve service delivery in the Coastal Community of Care. We seek a committed team player who prioritizes teamwork and patient-focused care. The ideal candidate should hold a Perinatal Specialty Nursing Certificate or CNA Certification in Perinatal Nursing, with additional certifications viewed favorably.
- Lead and guide nursing care delivery and the development of policies
- Strive to meet the highest standards in service provision
- Provide expert consultation and advice in nursing practices and program innovation
- Assess and contribute to continuous organizational enhancement
- Engage with healthcare professionals to promote nursing practice advancement
Education & Experience
- Master's degree in Nursing with current registration as a Registered Nurse
- A minimum of five years of experience in Perinatal-Pediatric Programs
- Preferred certification in Perinatal-Pediatrics Programs
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong collaborative abilities
- Excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Skilled in providing education on advanced nursing practices
- Expertise in clinical assessment and research methodologies
- Leadership capabilities in staff development and effective communication
