We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist I to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing laboratory testing and analysis, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform HPLC, dissolution, and physical testing analysis using established procedures.
- Document all experimental data in accordance with ALCOA guidelines.
- Troubleshoot system suitability failures and implement solutions.
- Recognize and report unexpected or OOS results immediately to the Supervisor and conduct laboratory investigations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to meet project and departmental objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field.
- Experience with common laboratory equipment and operations.
- Understanding of basic chemistry and chromatographic separations.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative chemical or microbiological analysis.
- Awareness of quality and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Follow all Environmental Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain strict compliance with Patheon quality systems Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Actively engage in departmental systems to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Demonstrate client and patient consciousness at all times.
