Job Title: Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Marché Duchemin et frères inc. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our supermarket/grocery store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations and make informed decisions to optimize store performance.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff management and task delegation.
  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
  • Determine staffing requirements and adjust accordingly to meet business needs.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Work Environment:

Our store is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with our management team to achieve business objectives and drive store success.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Adaptability, analytical, and collaborative skills.
