Rehabilitation Specialist (1.0 FTE Contract)
Niagara Children's Centre is a leading organization dedicated to providing comprehensive rehabilitation and support services tailored for children and youth facing physical challenges. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for over 5,800 young individuals in our community.
Role Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to determine the needs of children and youth requiring rehabilitation services.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving functional abilities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and support.
- Provide guidance and education to families regarding therapeutic strategies and resources.
- Monitor and evaluate progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the appropriate regulatory body. Experience working with children and youth in a rehabilitation setting is highly valued.
