We are seeking a qualified Occasional Teacher to join our team at the York Catholic District School Board.

About the Role

This is a part-time, temporary position that will provide support to our schools and students as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Teach students in various subjects, including Music, Core French, French Immersion, Deaf & Hard of Hearing, Math, Computer Science, and Physics
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Valid Ontario teaching certification
  • Experience working with students in a classroom setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
