Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
  • Review and analyze account reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Administer performance of controls over financial reporting processes and assist in the design, review, and evaluation of internal controls.
  • Analyze and investigate variances for balance sheet accounts.
  • Reconcile sub-ledger to ledger for tax modules and recreation module to general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of general accounting experience.
  • CPA, ACCA, or FCCA designation, or close to attaining.
  • Efficient in Great Plains or large ERP systems.
  • Month-end closings experience highly desired.
  • Experience in municipal or non-profit companies highly preferred.
