What is the opportunity?

As a seasoned Life and Wealth Advisor, you will provide comprehensive insurance planning and advice to clients, leveraging your expertise in RBC Insurance's life, whole life, living benefits, and wealth products. You will work closely with internal partners to deepen client relationships and identify new business opportunities. Your drive to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions will be key to your success in this role.

What will you do?

  • Connect with clients to understand their life events and offer personalized insurance and financial advice
  • Promote a client-centric approach in a digital environment, meeting clients at their convenience
  • Develop and deepen client relationships using Salesforce and other compliant customer tools
  • Contribute to team sales success by achieving individual sales goals
  • Expand your external network by capitalizing on market opportunities and referrals from approved centers of influence
  • Regularly review business results and adjust activities to meet established targets
  • Deliver on RBC's vision to be a world leader in financial services

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent
  • Business development and prospecting skills with a strong ambition to succeed
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Life/A&S License (HLLQP/LLQP), or willingness to complete before the start date
  • 1-2+ years' professional sales experience in the Insurance Industry
  • An existing network of referrals and approved centers of influence
  • Digital literacy using a variety of systems and tools

Nice to have

  • Fluent in English + other language
  • Great communication skills
  • Industry Designations Preferred: CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), CHS (Certified Health Insurance Specialist)
