LCI Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Game Design Instructor to contribute to our esteemed program at College Lasalle in Montreal.

As a Level Designer and Game Design Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of game development by guiding students through the intricacies of video game design. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering their creativity, technical skills, and understanding of industry best practices.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and structured course sessions that inspire student learning and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Design assessments aligned with competency-based learning objectives, ensuring students demonstrate their mastery of key concepts and skills.
  • Administer and evaluate student work fairly and effectively, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Offer ongoing guidance and encouragement to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential in the field of game design.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of curriculum and teaching materials, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a university or college degree in a relevant discipline, such as Game Design, Computer Science, or Interactive Media.
  • Demonstrate at least five years of experience in teaching within an educational setting.
  • Have a minimum of two years of professional experience in the video game industry, showcasing your practical knowledge and skills.
  • Exhibit proficiency in software analysis, game development tools, and various game design methodologies.
