Job Title: Glazier Helper

Join Alberta Glass and Railing Ltd. as a Glazier Helper and contribute to the success of our team. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in various tasks related to glass installation, construction, and demolition.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Support medical examiners and other professionals in charge of site operations.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Help with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Participate in demolishing buildings, following established procedures.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, prioritizing environmental safety.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks.
  • Repetitive tasks that require attention to detail and physical stamina.
Weight Handling:
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required.
Tools and Equipment:
  • Steel-toed safety boots and gloves are essential for the job.
Experience and Training:
  • Will train the right candidate on the job.
Green Job:
  • This role involves duties and responsibilities that contribute to positive environmental outcomes.
Work Details:
