About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at Chinese Christian Wing Kei Nursing Home Association. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and nutrition support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
  • Operate dishwashers and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food service and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service or related role
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Own transportation or ability to use public transportation
Working Conditions

This is a casual position, working 15 to 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
