Job Title: Security Guard - Ferries

Are you looking for a unique work environment that offers a mix of adventure and responsibility? As a Security Guard with Securiguard Services Limited, you will have the opportunity to work on our ferries, ensuring the safety and security of our passengers and crew.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety and security of the terminal and onboard vessels
  • Act as a visible deterrent and engage with the public to provide assistance and direction
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and respond to incidents in a professional manner
  • Perform unlock/lock-up checks and related security procedures
  • Manage various communication channels, including radio and incident escalations
  • Identify and report safety hazards to ensure the well-being and satisfaction of our passengers
Requirements:
  • BC Security License
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable with radio communication
  • Ability to write reports on job-related activities
  • Comfort working independently and in varying weather conditions
  • Physically capable of standing and walking for a duration of 8 hours
