About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Coastal Lifting Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Mobile and Tower Cranes: Safely and efficiently operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials on construction sites.
  • Clean and Lubricate Cranes: Regularly clean and lubricate cranes to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
  • Assemble Tower Cranes: Assemble tower cranes on site, following manufacturer instructions and safety protocols.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work on cranes, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts.
  • Assemble, Erect and Install Hoisting and Rigging Equipment: Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Site Environment: Work outdoors, at heights, and in dangerous environments.
  • Work Setting: Work in urban areas, high-rise building construction sites, and various locations.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold a Tower Crane Operator Trade Certification.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with forklifts.
  • Transportation and Travel: Own a vehicle and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, have manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and sound discrimination.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player.
