Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines that automate operational tasks.
  • Develop applications to monitor service health, perform log analysis, and automate recovery.
  • Apply software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Work towards operational excellence by identifying opportunities to automate away manual processes.
  • Partner with the development team technical director to understand team requirements, evaluate options, develop roadmaps, and ensure needs are addressed in a complex, multi-partner environment.
  • Provide critical support when changes are pushed to dev lines for the game teams.
  • Maintain documentation of systems configurations and procedures, including runbooks for DevOps tasks.
  • Evaluate and adopt technologies that improve team efficiency and platform capabilities.
  • Work with a global team to implement technologies and support integration.
  • Analyze incidents in a postmortem process to ensure preventative measures.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Experience using Perforce or Git-based workflows for code management.
  • Experience with Python, C#, or other scripting languages.
  • Understanding of software configuration management and release management.
  • Well-versed in the use and administration of CI/CD frameworks, Jenkins, or others.
  • Experience setting up and deploying a CI/CD environment, a 'large-scale' environment (being a sole or tech lead in the process).
  • Experience working with ticketing systems such as JIRA.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation for internal and external use.
  • Passion for automation and workflow efficiency.
