Key Responsibilities- Cleaning Duties: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax floors, hallways, and stairs to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Debris Removal: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to eliminate dirt, heavy debris, and refuse from the premises.
- Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers regularly.
- Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to ensure a spotless appearance.
- Minor Repairs: Make adjustments and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, while coordinating with tradespersons for major repairs.
- Contractor Liaison: Contact contractors for necessary repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
- Appliance Maintenance: Conduct minor repairs on appliances as needed.
- Furniture Handling: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
- Customer Interaction: Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism.
- Upholstery Care: Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
- Dusting: Dust furniture and surfaces to maintain a clean environment.
- Disinfection: Disinfect operating rooms and other critical areas to ensure health and safety.
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain their condition.
- Fixture Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
This position requires own transportation to various locations, and you will be expected to handle repetitive tasks and heavy loads. The role is physically demanding, involving bending, crouching, and kneeling, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
