Position Overview:

The Systems Administrator will oversee the IT infrastructure and support services within the organization. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring the integrity of the company's technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support the company's IT systems, including hardware, software, and network resources.
  • Provide timely assistance for various systems, ensuring optimal performance of operating systems, servers, and storage solutions.
  • Administer desktop environments, including user workstations and peripheral devices.
  • Monitor and optimize data storage and backup systems to safeguard company information.
  • Configure and maintain operating systems, internet connections, and security measures.
  • Assist in software testing and document network configurations.
  • Respond effectively to security incidents and user support requests.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure all systems and applications function efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively through various channels, maintaining clear documentation and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT support, with strong knowledge of Windows systems and MS Office.
  • Experience with enterprise computing infrastructure, including servers and storage systems.
  • Broad understanding of IT concepts, including system administration and IT security.
  • Experience in configuring and supporting desktop and storage systems.
  • Knowledge of networking principles and experience with firewall configurations.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, particularly PowerShell.
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies.
