Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work areas adhere to safety protocols and fire regulations.
- Respond promptly to all health and safety-related work requests.
- Implement environmentally sustainable practices when handling chemicals and maintenance products.
- Assist in maintaining the operational integrity of the building structure, systems, equipment, and guest areas.
- Perform repairs and troubleshoot issues with guest room air conditioning units and water heaters.
- Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting for pool and spa filtration systems.
- Manage the upkeep and repair of refrigeration systems.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, ideally within a luxury hotel environment.
- Relevant technical or trade certifications.
- Proficiency in various building operations, including high-pressure steam boilers, HVAC systems, air compressors, gas lines, heaters, pumps, and valves.
- Strong handyman skills with a creative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
Visa Requirements:
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
