About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at B.C. LTD. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction and renovation, including measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Scheduling and coordinating work on sites.
  • Instructing apprentices and supervising other workers.
  • Estimating costs and materials.
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Physically demanding work requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Tight deadlines.
