Pre-Board Screening Officer

At Paladin Airport Security Services, we are committed to providing exceptional security services to our clients. As a Pre-Board Screening Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers and staff at our airport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints
  • Provide information and assistance to passengers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Confirm valid boarding passes and ensure compliance with security regulations
  • Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other security equipment to detect prohibited items
  • Protect restricted areas and maintain a high level of situational awareness
  • Manage conflict and communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues
  • Uphold all regulations and standards related to transportation security
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a high-volume environment
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; fluency in French is an asset
  • Ability to comply with CATSA medical requirements and obtain a Transport Security Clearance (TSC)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and current residency in Prince George or surrounding area
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
