As a Pre-Board Screening Officer with Paladin Airport Security Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of airport passengers and staff. Key Responsibilities:- Screen passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints efficiently and effectively
- Provide professional and courteous information to passengers and staff
- Confirm valid boarding passes and scan baggage for prohibited items using X-ray machines and other technology
- Protect restricted areas and manage conflict situations
- Communicate clearly and effectively with passengers and staff
- Uphold all regulations and guidelines with vigilance
- Excellent customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; fluency in French is an asset
- Ability to comply with CATSA medical requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current resident of Prince George or surrounding area
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Paladin Airport Security Services is committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment. If you are successful in the application process, you will be required to apply for a Transport Security Clearance (TSC), which requires an extensive background check. Once obtained, you will be eligible to begin the Screening Officer Foundations (SOF) course, which must be successfully passed prior to beginning work as a Pre-Board Screening Officer.
