Job Description

Job Title: Business Consultant

Company: Renaud Consulting IM/IT Solutions

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement organizational improvement plans to achieve strategic objectives
  • Provide strategic advice and direction to senior management on financial and corporate management systems
  • Assess and analyze stakeholder's business objectives and recommend solutions to address their business problems
  • Implement and evaluate cross-functional decisions to achieve organizational objectives
  • Develop and implement business strategies and plans to achieve organizational goals
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in providing strategic advice and direction to senior management in the public sector
  • At least 3 years of experience in business transformation of SAP-based financial systems within the Government of Canada
  • Senior management experience in developing a broad range of processes and policies in an Information Management/Information Technology/Enterprise Transformation environment

Additional Requirements

  • Consider best practices in other government departments
  • Ensure consistency with Government of Canada policy frameworks and initiatives
  • Take into account the impact of transformative activities happening within DND and the Government at large
  • Engage relevant parties as appropriate in the development of final products
  • Identify options for business models and identify opportunities to strengthen, reform, and realign duties to build strength
