Position Overview:

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for conducting evaluations, providing expert consultation, and developing comprehensive treatment strategies aimed at helping children and adolescents reach their fullest rehabilitation potential across various aspects of daily living, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and perceptual abilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in an Occupational Therapy capacity.
  • Experience working with children, youth, and their families is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with all stakeholders, including individuals, teams, and organizational units.
  • Ability to facilitate collaborative problem-solving within a team setting concerning program development and personalized treatment plans.
  • Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word).
  • Familiarity with case management software (e.g., EMHWare) is advantageous.
  • Experience in managing cases related to eating disorders is preferred.
