Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team. As an Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for assessing potential client markets, calculating premiums, and establishing client insurance coverage. You will also be responsible for providing customer service, monitoring insurance claims, and responding to client inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Assessment: Assess potential institutional, business, or individual client markets to identify opportunities for insurance coverage.
  • Premium Calculation: Calculate premiums for clients based on their specific needs and risk profiles.
  • Client Coverage: Establish client insurance coverage by selecting the most suitable policies and coverage options.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Claims Monitoring: Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Experience as an Insurance Broker is an asset.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licence is required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail are essential.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and judgement are required.
