About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at Petro Canada/A&W. As a key member of our retail store operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our gas station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations.
  • Store Operations: Assign sales workers to duties, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and stored.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient store operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with frequent customer interactions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift heavy loads.
  • Language: English.
