About This Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Marketing Analyst to join our Commercial Growth Marketing team at American Express. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth and market share from existing customers for our Commercial business in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute campaigns that drive growth in customer spend by delivering robust marketing treatments leveraging customer signals and triggers.
- Collaborate extensively with key internal stakeholders and external partners to create, align and execute a result-driven strategy.
- Develop and manage innovative and creative digital engagement strategies that are personalized and industry-specific.
- Focus on launching tools and capabilities that bring efficiencies through automation.
- Develop growth campaigns and loyalty/retention programs for our SME managed portfolio.
- Utilize analytics to deliver on an insight-driven marketing strategy.
- Support the Account Development team by developing and executing call scripts and collateral.
- Analyze, understand and report on results and make use of this intelligence to influence future business decisions.
Requirements
- Strategic thinking and effectiveness – ability to interpret business objectives into actionable marketing strategies.
- Ability to drive results with a focus on commercial outcomes.
- Customer-centric focus – ability to develop and execute strategies that are customer-first.
- Collaborative style of doing business – ability to influence, gain support, resolve conflict and work in a matrix organization.
- Partnership management – ability to influence and gain support with Account Management teams and Enterprise Data Analytics teams.
- Strong analytical and data capabilities – undertake ongoing campaign analysis to monitor marketing channel performance and ROI on investments.
- B2B marketing experience incorporating all mediums including digital is preferable.
- High personal accountability which leads to strong experience in driving results.
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in marketing, business administration, or similar careers.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in execution of digital marketing strategies and digital campaign management.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in project management and capability delivery in a matrix organization.
- Experience working with Account Development of Sales teams to drive aggressive growth targets is considered an asset.
- Superior communication and influencing skills.
- Customer-centric mindset, with proven ability to craft initiatives, programs and campaigns that appeal to customers, merchants and internal business partners evaluation.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and growth mindset with superior attention to detail.
- Passion for driving results.
