Job Description

Medisolution (2009) Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor to join our team. As a Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients. Your primary duties will include:

  • Technical Support: Respond to client inquiries and resolve technical issues related to computer systems and software.
  • Installation and Configuration: Install and configure computer systems, software, and hardware to meet client requirements.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and present sales proposals to clients, and follow up on sales leads.
  • Travel and Communication: Travel to client sites to provide technical support and communicate with clients to determine and resolve technical issues.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in IT and a degree in computer science or a related field. A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or on-site visits.
  • Install and configure computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Develop and present sales proposals to clients.
  • Follow up on sales leads and close deals.
  • Travel to client sites to provide technical support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT.
  • DEC or AEC in computer science or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Windows Server.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.).
  • Experience with Hyper-V and VMware is an asset.
  • Experience with firewall management is an asset.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux is an asset.
  • Experience with SQL Server is an asset.
