About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permit and Inspection Liaison to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects by handling permits and workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Project Managers to compile project-specific documentation, including scopes, drawings, and other relevant materials.
  • Research and acquire municipal-specific documentation required for building permits, including owner authorization forms, building permit applications, and permit packages from professionals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with municipal regulatory authorities to streamline the permitting process.
  • Process and document permit payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on building codes, zoning regulations, environmental regulations, and other applicable laws to ensure project compliance.
  • Schedule and attend project inspections, including framing, insulation, and final inspections.
  • Collaborate with subtrades and professionals to receive and compile documentation throughout the project process.
Requirements
  • University or college diploma in construction management or a related field.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Passion for construction and project management.
  • Ability to handle a heavy workload, multitask, and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
