Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Quick Books, and MS Office.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is not available.

- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
