Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at Little People's Workshop Ltd. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, including deductions and benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Urban area, head office.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
