Job Title: Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Baie Ste Anne Seafoods (2014) Inc.

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fish plant, ensuring that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes supervising a team of 16-20 people, coordinating work activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers in the fish plant
  • Ensure that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
  • Prepare production and other reports
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Attention to detail
  • Overtime required
  • Work under pressure
