We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Baie Ste Anne Seafoods (2014) Inc.
Job Summary:The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fish plant, ensuring that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of our production team, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, and implementing quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of product quality, including regular inspections and audits.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and guidelines, with the ability to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
