Job Title: Medication Aide

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Aide to join our team. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications to residents in a safe and organized manner, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Document medication administration and resident care in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure accurate medication administration and resident care.
  • Participate in daily Cross Over meetings to discuss resident care and medication administration.
  • Assist with resident care and activities as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
  • Ability to react calmly in difficult situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
