Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant Certified will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to our healthcare team. This includes preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures by taking vital signs, updating medical records, and obtaining necessary information.
  • Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures, such as injections and minor surgeries.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests, such as blood pressure and temperature checks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and test results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.
Requirements:
  • Washington State Medical Assistant Certificate.
  • Minimum one year experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification required.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
