About the Role

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Home Health team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work with adult clients to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in adult clients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address client needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide education and counseling to clients and families
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Current full registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia
  • Two years recent related speech language practice dealing with adults with acquired communication disorders and dysphagia
  • Valid BC Driver's License required
